The Claret Way Youth Seminar Inspires Young Minds
The vibrant community of St. Antony Mary Claret Church witnessed an inspiring and transformative event on 12th 2025 Saturday as The Claret Way Youth Full-Day Seminar which was successfully conducted. The seminar drew enthusiastic participation from young people eager to deepen their faith and understanding of their spiritual calling.
The event commenced with an inaugural session led by Fr. A. Ingasimuthu CMF, Parish Priest, who warmly welcomed the gathering and set the tone for the day. The chief guest, Fr. V. Michel Francis CMF, Prefect of Apostolate, delivered a keynote address. He emphasized the seminar’s mission to inspire youth by reflecting on Pope Francis’ post-synodal apostolic exhortation, Christus Vivit, and highlighted the lives of biblical figures as models of faith and dedication. Fr. S. Thomas CMF followed with an insightful explanation of the Claret Way initiative, which aims to unite Claretian youth worldwide under a shared mission of faith and service. His message resonated with the participants, encouraging them to embrace their role in the larger Claretian family.
The seminar took a practical turn with an engaging session by Fr. Kulandai Yesu Rajan CMF, who addressed the pressing issue of addiction. With innovative techniques such as group dynamics, action songs, and interactive activities, he skilfully educated the youth about the harmful impact of addiction on individuals, families, and society. His session was both enlightening and empowering, providing the youth with tools to navigate challenges in their lives.
Adding a personal touch, Mr. Amal Raj, a volunteer dedicated to Youth Ministry, shared his spiritual journey. His candid account of self-discovery and faith inspired the participants to reflect on their own life purpose. He encouraged the youth to embrace discernment and lead lives imbued with meaning and service.
The seminar concluded with an evaluation session, where participants shared their reflections and takeaways from the day. The energy and enthusiasm in the room were palpable, with attendees expressing their gratitude for the opportunity to grow spiritually and connect with others. As the day ended, the seminar was unanimously declared a resounding success.
