St. Joseph Parish, Irendelaiparai Celebrates Joyful Annual Feast
The faithful of St. Joseph Parish, Irendelaiparai joyfully celebrated their annual Parochial Feast of St. Joseph, beginning with the traditional flag hoisting ceremony on 26th April 2025 which marked the start of nine days of spiritual preparation through Novena Masses and themed homilies.
The feast day celebration culminated with a solemn Eucharistic Celebration on 1st May 2025 presided over by Rev. Fr. Sahaya Raj, Vicar General of the Diocese of Dindigul. Joining him were Rev. Fr. Joseph Mbungu Mutu, General Prefect of Formation from the Claretian Generalate in Rome, along with several diocesan and religious priests. Their presence added spiritual depth and communal joy to the occasion.
A highlight of the celebration was the First Holy Communion received by the parish children during the Feast Mass marking a significant milestone in their faith journey. The vibrant participation of parishioners and neighboring communities reflected the strong spiritual bond and unity among the faithful. The novena period offered a time of deep spiritual renewal, encouraging reflection, conversion, and a recommitment to living in love and harmony.
In the evening there was a cultural performances, featuring themes of social relevance and community upliftment, offering both entertainment and meaningful reflection. Fr.
