First and Perpetual Religious Profession at Claret Bhavan, Karumathur

Karumathur, Madurai – May 31, 2025: With deep joy and gratitude to God, the Claretian Province of Chennai celebrated the First and Perpetual Religious Profession of its members at Claret Bhavan, Karumathur. The solemn Eucharistic celebration was held at 10:30 AM, marking a significant moment in the vocational journey of six Claretian brothers. Fr. Jesu Doss CMF the Provincial Superior presided over the celebration and received the vows. In his homily, he highlighted the beauty of total self-gift to God and encouraged the brothers to remain faithful to their missionary calling.

The following made their Perpetual Profession:

The following brothers made their First Religious Profession:
– Stu. Astil Alan A.
– Stu. Joseph Nelson J.
– Stu. Sukin S.
– Stu. Susai Nelson A.

The ceremony was witnessed by the Provincial Council members, diocesan and religious priests, sisters, family members of the perpetually professed, and a large gathering of Claretian fathers and brothers. The liturgy was marked by profound reverence, joy, and thanksgiving. Following the Mass, the community joined together for wishing the brothers’ commitment with fraternal joy. This celebration was not only a personal milestone for the professed but also a moment of renewal for the entire Claretian family, reaffirming their shared mission in the spirit of St. Anthony Mary Claret.
