Blessing and Inauguration of the Extended and Renovated Church at Tirusulam
Tirusulam, Chennai – March 2, 2025: A momentous occasion unfolded at the Claretian parish of St. Antony’s Church in Tirusulam as the Extended and Renovated church was solemnly blessed and inaugurated in a grand ceremony. The event was graced by the presence of Bishop, several Priests, Religious and the faithful.
The blessing of the church was officiated by His Excellency Most Rev. A. Neethinathan, DD, the Bishop of Chingleput Diocese, alongside Fr. S. Jesu Doss CMF, the Claretian Provincial Superior of Chennai Province.
Adding to the significance of the event, Fr. Joseph Calistus CMF, the Provincial Superior of the Claretian Province of Germany and Rev. Fr. Paul John the Vicar Forane (VF) of St. Thomas Vicariate, honored the occasion with his esteemed presence. Several diocesan and Claretian priests, as well as religious brothers and sisters, also participated in the celebration, marking a profound moment of faith and unity.
