Addiction Awareness Programme Held at Annie Matric Higher Secondary School in Mudichur, Chennai.

CHENNAI – MANITHAM LIFE CARE, a Dindigul-based organization, conducted an Addiction Awareness Programme at Annie Matric Higher Secondary School in Mudichur, Chennai on August 16th and 17th, 2024. The event was organized in collaboration with Mr. Bernard Rajesh of Logos Infinite Interactions, Chennai.

The two-day programme saw active participation from 41 teachers and 309 students ranging from 8th to 12th grade. The initiative aimed to educate and inform the school community about the dangers of addiction and promote healthy lifestyle choices.

Participants reported that the course was highly beneficial, providing valuable insights into addiction prevention and management. The programme’s content and delivery appeared to resonate strongly with both staff and students alike.

MANITHAM LIFE CARE’s outreach to schools demonstrates a proactive approach to tackling addiction-related challenges, emphasizing the importance of early intervention and education in combating substance abuse.
