Claret Way Youth Programme at Our Lady of Snow Mission Parish, Thadikarankonam

The Claret Way Youth Seminar held at Our Lady of Snow Mission Parish, Thadikarankonam, Kanyakumari, was a resounding success, drawing 55 young Christians eager to deepen their faith and actively contribute to their community. The programme focused on spiritual growth, community building, and leadership development, leaving a lasting impact on all participants.

The seminar began at 10:00 a.m. with an inaugural session led by the youth, followed by a warm welcome address from the parish youth team. Fr. L. Xavier CMF, the Parish Priest, set the tone with an inspiring message on the importance of youth collaboration in shaping a better and more just society. Fr. S. Thomas CMF, vocation promoter, then shed light on the Claret Way initiatives, emphasizing how youth can unite to embrace their role in the Church and in society.

The programme continued with an interactive session led by Fr. J. Santiago CMF, supported by volunteers Harisha and Sanjay. Fr. Santiago encouraged the participants to recognize their responsibility as young leaders within the Church and society, while Harisha spoke about discovering life’s true purpose and facing hardships with courage. Sanjay shared insights on the “secret of success,” motivating the youth to pursue meaningful lives rooted in faith and service.

Fr. Stanislaus CMF, Prefect of Formation, delivered a stirring address that ignited a renewed sense of mission among the youth. He challenged them to confront social issues boldly and to become proactive change-makers, inspiring them to live as committed citizens dedicated to building a better world.

The day’s programme featured inspiring talks, interactive workshops, and group activities, all of which encouraged participants to reflect deeply on their faith, values, and responsibilities. The seminar also created a space for friendship and fellowship, fostering a sense of belonging within the parish community.

By the end of the day, the youth expressed a renewed sense of purpose, along with greater confidence to take on leadership roles. Many shared that they felt spiritually enriched, motivated to deepen their faith, and empowered to live lives of service and commitment.

The Claret Way Youth Seminar was truly a moment of grace and inspiration, offering young people a platform to grow in their faith, enhance their leadership skills, and build meaningful relationships that will strengthen both the Church and society.
