Annual Feast of Our Lady of Good Health Celebrated at Muthamizh Nagar
The Annual Feast of Our Lady of Good Health was joyfully celebrated at Muthamizh Nagar, the sub-station of St. Joseph Church, Irendellaiparai, with great devotion and enthusiasm.
The celebrations began on September 26, 2025, with the solemn Flag Hoisting Ceremony, marking the official commencement of the feast. On September 27, 2025, the faithful took part in a graceful Car Procession, which was followed by a Grand Eucharistic Celebration.
A highlight of the festivities was the 10-day Novena, during which the faithful united in praying the “1000 Hail Marys”, deepening their devotion to the Blessed Mother.
During the feast the Solemn Eucharistic Celebrations were presided over by our beloved Claretian Fathers — Fr. A. L. Raj CMF, Fr. Ansel Antony CMF, and Fr. Philp CMF. Their presence and prayers enriched the spiritual experience of the faithful.
This annual celebration was not just a time of prayer but also a moment of unity, fraternity, and friendship. Devotees from within the parish and neighbouring villages participated in large numbers. Remarkably, people from different religious traditions also joined in with deep reverence, witnessing the Blessed Mother’s role as a source of peace and grace for all.
The Feast of Our Lady of Good Health at Muthamizhnagar continues to be a powerful expression of faith, gratitude, and communal harmony, strengthening the bonds of love among all participants.
