Summer Enrichment Program for Children at St. Joseph Church, Irendellaiparai

Irendellaiparai, May 24, 2025 – St. Joseph Church, Irendellaiparai, successfully organized a vibrant and spiritually enriching summer program for the parish children during the month of May 2025. The program featured two major components: Vacation Bible School (VBS) and an English Grammar Class, both aimed at nurturing the faith and intellectual growth of the young participants.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)
From May 1 to May 11, 2025, 25 enthusiastic parish children participated in the Vacation Bible School. Trained teachers conducted the sessions, creatively presenting various parables, stories, and teachings from the Pentateuch in dramatic and engaging ways. The sessions were designed to be simple yet impactful, allowing children to understand the depth of biblical teachings with ease. To further energize the participants, a variety of sports and games were organized, ensuring active involvement and joyful learning throughout the program.

English Grammar Class
Following the VBS, from May 12 to May 23, 2025, a group of 27 children took part in a special English Grammar Class. Rev. Fr. Arockiasa CMF served as the resource person for this initiative. He conducted both spoken English and grammar sessions simultaneously, creating an interactive and educational environment. The children displayed keen interest and active participation, frequently engaging in discussions and clarifying their doubts. The classes not only improved their grasp of the English language but also contributed to building a strong foundation for their academic and personal development.

This summer program at St. Joseph Church stands as a testimony to the parish’s commitment to the holistic growth of its children—spiritually, intellectually, and socially. The organizers expressed gratitude to all the teachers, volunteers, and parents for their support and encouragement.
