Claret Way Youth Empowerment at St. Joseph’s Church, Irendellaiparai, Dindigul

Dindigul, 15th January 2025The Claret Way Youth Program, organized at St. Joseph’s Church in Irendellaiparai, Dindigul, on 15th January 2025, brought together approximately 30 enthusiastic youth from the parish to engage in meaningful discussions and activities aimed at fostering social responsibility and personal growth.
The program began promptly at 10:00 a.m. with a warm welcome from Fr. S. Thomas CMF, who addressed the gathering and introduced the primary objective of the Claret Way initiative—empowering young individuals to actively participate in societal development and church activities.
Following that the parish priest, Fr. M. Thomas CMF, delivered a brief and powerful message highlighting the importance of youth collaboration in shaping a better future for society. He emphasized how young people play a crucial role in the community and the church.
The chief guest for the event, Fr. Stanislaus CMF, the Prefect of Formation, delivered an inspiring address encouraging the youth to respond to the challenges of social responsibility. His message resonated deeply with the audience, urging them to embrace their roles as proactive contributors to society.
Fr. Philip Sudakar, the Director of Youth for the Diocese of Dindigul, led the morning session with a series of engaging group games designed to promote teamwork and communication among the youth. Through these activities, Fr. Sudakar guided the participants in reflecting on their life goals, offering valuable insights into how they could work towards achieving personal and spiritual growth.
In the afternoon, Fr. Albert SDB took over to conduct a session on “Youth and Responsibilities.” His talk focused on helping the youth understand their significant role both within the church and in society. The session encouraged the participants to recognize their potential to make a difference through responsible actions and leadership.
Throughout the day, the youth displayed great enthusiasm and active participation, making the program a highly interactive and impactful event. As the day drew to a close at 4:30 p.m., everyone left with renewed energy, a deeper sense of purpose, and a commitment to contribute positively to both their community and the wider society.
The Claret Way Youth Program proved to be a successful initiative in inspiring young minds to step up, take responsibility, and actively participate in the betterment of the world around them.
