Karumathur, Madurai – August 8, 2024:- Students and Priests at Claret Bhavan in Karumathur, Madurai, gathered today to honor the memory of Very Rev. Fr. Franz X. Dirnberger CMF on the anniversary of his ordination. The solemn tribute took place after the holy mass, marking 76 years since Fr. Dirnberger’s ordination on August 8, 1948. Fr. Dirnberger, a revered figure for the Claretians in India who dedicated his life to the service of others, embodying the spirit of the Claretian Missionaries. His commitment to faith and community left an indelible mark on those who knew him and those who continue to be inspired by his legacy. The commemoration began with a holy mass, attended by students and priests who gathered to reflect on Fr. Dirnberger’s contributions.
