PROVINCE OF CHENNAI

The golden and silver Jubilee of religious profession and the silver jubilee of priestly ordination were celebrated on 30th May, 2023 at Claret Bhavan, Karumathur. The celebration marked the commitment and communion of our Claretian Missionaries. They lived their religious life faithfully and meaningfully. The Province of Chennai admired and acknowledged their contributions. Their missionaries work was appreciated well. They are happy and faithful in following Jesus Christ through footsteps of our father Claret.

With the words “Today a great work begins,” pronounced by Mosén Antonio Claret, gathered with five young priests in a small room of the Seminary of Vic, on July 16, 1849, the life of the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary takes off.
