The Community of Claret Home, Villiavarambal is located in the rural setting of Kumbakonam Diocese. The main apostolate of the Community is Mission Parish. The Parish of St. Sebastian Church was entrusted to the pastoral care of Claretians on 10th June, 1994. There are 320 Catholic families. The Parish has 7 substations namely:
These above mentioned villages were under the Cathedral Parish, Kumbakonam as substations until June 9th 1994. These were bifurcated from St. Mary’s Cathedral Church and were installed as a ‘PARISH’ on June 10th 1994 was given to the pastoral care of Claretian Missionaries. The Priests mainly carry out the Sacramental Ministry along with Social Development Works. The people of these areas have grown spiritually and socially after our arrival and presence in this Parish.
