Cultural Day Celebrations at Irendellaiparai St. Joseph Primary School
Irendellaiparai: Irendellaiparai St. Joseph Primary School recently held its annual Cultural Day celebration, a vibrant event organized at the behest of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The program was designed to nurture the diverse talents and skills of the students.
The festivities commenced with a felicitation speech by Mrs. Amutha, the District Educational Officer from Dindigul. She commended the school’s efforts in providing a platform for the children to showcase their abilities. The various competitions held during the Cultural Day included song, dance, painting, one-act play, fancy dress, environmental awareness songs, and a Thirukural memory test. The events were judged by a panel comprising Fr. Panner CMF from LIFE Centre and Bro. Kiran CMF from MANITHAM de-addiction Centre.
One standout performance was delivered by a 5th-standard student named Jincia, who recited an impressive 62 Thirukural verses in just three minutes. The cultural events were a riot of colors, captivating the audience with the students’ creativity and poise.
In the closing ceremony, Fr. Panner CMF praised the students for their unique talents, bestowed by God. He encouraged them to continue honing their skills and showcasing their capabilities. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the school’s Headmistress, Mrs. Alina Mary.
